Call for Testing: Jetpack 6.6 (Beta)

Update (2018-09-25 23:30 UTC): Jetpack 6.6 will actually be released to VIP Go sites on October 10, 2018 (and not October 3 as originally mentioned).

Jetpack 6.6 will be deployed to VIP Go on Wednesday, October 3, 2018T Wednesday, October 10, 2018. The upgrade is expected to be performed at 19:00 UTC (15:00 EDT). This deployment date and time is subject to change if issues are discovered during testing of the Jetpack release.

The beta is available now, and the download link is at the top of the beta release notice.

What is being added or changed?

This update adds a consistent design across all Jetpack settings pages, an improved flow for Site Verification through Google, and fixes/improvements for the Lazy Images, Infinite Scroll, and Search modules.

What do I need to do?

We recommend:

1. Installing the beta release on your non-production sites using these instructions.
2. Running through the testing flows outlined in the Jetpack Testing Guide.
