Jetpack 12.2-beta is available now for testing and the download link is available here
Jetpack 12.2 will be deployed to VIP on Tuesday, June 13, 2023*. The upgrade is expected to be performed at 17:00 UTC (1:00PM ET).
*This deployment date and time are subject to change if issues are discovered during testing of the Jetpack release.

What is being added or changed?
Major Enhancements
- Add an AI Assistant block, replacing the previous experimental AI Paragraph and AI Image blocks.
- Donations, Paid Content and Payment Buttons blocks are now available with all Jetpack plans. A commission is charged for free plans.

- Bit.ly: Avoid errors when using non-official Bit.ly plugins alongside Jetpack.
- Filters:
jetpack_set_available_blocks and jetpack_set_available_plugins, deprecated since Jetpack 7.0, have been removed.
- Full-Site Editing: Use modern
wp_is_block_theme instead of gutenberg_is_fse_theme.
- General: PHP 8 compatibility updates.
- Internationalization: Add necessary context to the word “Trash” in the Contact Form interface.
- Security: Ensure blocks are always fully displayed on your site, even when using a caching plugin.
- Sharing / Likes / Related Posts: Do not display them in JSON requests available when using the ActivityPub plugin.
- Social: Flag unsupported connections in the editor UI.
- WooCommerce: Avoid fatal errors when other plugins make changes to WooCommerce Products or Orders.

What do I need to do?
We recommend the below:
- Installing the release on your non-production sites using these instructions.
- Running through the testing flows outlined in the Jetpack Testing Guide.
As you’re testing, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Check your browser’s JavaScript console and see if there are any errors reported by Jetpack there.
- Use Query Monitor to help make PHP notices and warnings more noticeable and report anything you see.
