Jetpack 12.9-beta is available now for testing and the download link is available here
Jetpack 12.9 will be deployed to VIP on Tuesday, January 9, 2024*. The upgrade is expected to be performed at 17:00 UTC (1:00PM ET).
*This deployment date and time are subject to change if issues are discovered during testing of the Jetpack release.

Enhancements
- My Jetpack: Added Creator to My Jetpack overview.
- Paid Content Block: Added support for selecting multiple plans.
- Likes: Updated the likes popover design and added RTL support.
Improved compatibility
- Google Fonts: Resolved occasional bug resulting in fatal errors on PHP 8 with latest Gutenberg.
- Block Editor: Dequeued editor assets when they aren’t in use.
Bug fixes
- Dashboard: Fixed the display of the Auto-sharing feature toggle when the user is not connected to WordPress.com.
- Dashboard: Fixed the display of Subscriptions and WordPress.com Toolbar controls when the user is not connected to WordPress.com.
- Monetize: Updated the link to the plans page.
- EU Cookie Widget: Moved away from deprecated jQuery methods.
- Block Editor: Fixed console errors being thrown for Jetpack blocks inside the Full Site Editor.
- Fixed sending email preview when content in the editor is different from the latest version in the database.
- Fixed wrong like count in the like dialog after liking.
- Google Fonts: Added filtering for old google fonts data in the user’s global styles.
- Monetize: Fixed membership products resolver not filtering tiers correctly.
- Related Posts Block: Fixed thumbnails opening in the same tab.
- Subscribe Widget: Fixed nonce validation.
What do I need to do?
We recommend the below:
- Installing the release on your non-production sites using these instructions.
- Running through the testing flows outlined in the Jetpack Testing Guide.
As you’re testing, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Check your browser’s JavaScript console and see if there are any errors reported by Jetpack there.
- Use Query Monitor to help make PHP notices and warnings more noticeable and report anything you see.
