We’ve had a successful few weeks launching the Big Media & Enterprise meetups in two new cities: London and Toronto. Next up: Boston and San Francisco!
The Big Media & Enterprise Meetup focuses on issues concerning the operation, development, and scaling of large, high-traffic WordPress websites. Topics tend to be technical, but not exclusively—all are welcome, including folks from the editorial and business teams. This is primarily a networking event — there are four 10-minute “flash talks,” and then we all head to a nearby bar for drinks and networking.
We will also be hosting three WordPress workshops in conjunction with the San Francisco event. These are part of our “VIP Training Days” – one-day, in-person training courses led by a team of WordPress.com VIP instructors. This will include our first-ever workshop on Security, Performance and Debugging.
